Meet the Designers

In 2016, Maryellen invited Interior Designer Christy Soldatis to partner with her in servicing the increased number of her design clientele. Together Maryellen and Christy approach each new project by combining their individual style and classic sensibilities with years of design experience to each of their clients. Their tag-team approach to each of their design projects is supported and implemented by their efficient office staff, skilled subcontractors, and established vendor relationships.

As a design creative & principal in my firm, I am best known for my tag team approach to residential design. Together with my business design partner and dear friend, Christy Soldatis, we bring double design expertise with impeccable service to every project we do.

I am grateful for the opportunity to join Maryellen at Sassy Green Interiors. Our collaboration has given us the ability to expand our design concepts, building on each other’s ideas to meet our clients’ needs. Though I started in commercial design after schooling, I am very much enjoying our residential teamwork.

Mike Hodapp

Mike Hodapp, Handyman

Offered as a service of Sassy Green Interiors, Mike, “The Sassy Handyman,” has been performing services for his clients for over ten years. As a degreed electrical engineer, Mike has gained important technical and problem solving ability through his career work in aerospace and automotive electronics systems. These skills translate directly into problem solving for homeowners. He enjoys serving and helping people, and looks forward to expanding his presence after his recent retirement from industry. Mike also assists his wife, Maryellen, and her design partner, Christy, with numerous tasks associated with their interior design and remodel clients.
